GET-TO-KNOW & FIRST IMP

first week was filled with obligatory arrangements as student id, alien registration card, korean health care program, dormitory fee, course registration. however my buddy jaehyun is very helpful person so we got it done.

37°26'57.5"N 126°39'17.5"E uni campus is great! all in one. lonesome faculty buildings, divided by little parks with rushing asian students in each direction, student clubs promo-stands including dance, music, arts, mountaineering and other activities up to number of 100+. such a lovely change compared to ctu prague.

i should mention 8-floor jungseok memorial library finished in 2003. former chairman of inha donated over 50 us dollars from personal funds for starters
more than 1.300.000 books here
and that mister also was a president of korean air. maybe that's why we got a big plane in the campus.
"this is your captain speaking"

first impression about locals: for now I have optimistic feeling they love non-asian people. older men like to shake hand with me. women calling us handsome. koreans willing to help. to repay, i am trying to learn korean (more about language to come) and nod head for greeting and thanking and apologizing

about uni students: generally, girls are dressed in fancy outfit (but every second wearing pair of trainers in the same time :D), gallons of make up, still they got no ass nor boobs, covering faces against the sun thus many of them are just pale.

Life in plastic, it's fantastic! ♫♫♫

and males - oh boy, metrosexual alert - having precisely cut hairstyle which is likely to be colored, spending gargantuan amount of time in bathroom, checking themselves in mirrors if polo shirt and shorts are set in position. In addition wearing black thick-framed glasses without lenses is the hit here! (and to top it off - of course - no facial hair...) this all i can not put together with fact of mandatory military service of 21 months :-O

soo, this is my humble, subjective observation and it do not apply to all! thx--

living in dormitory is pretty strict, every weekday we have to stay the night here (12:00 - 05:00 is "no leave, no come" timespan), so party only on friday/saturday in the city since alcohol is forbidden in the dorms, same holds true for female visitors...we are just hundreds of men in one huge building ha...but we got terrace....smoking is ok outside!!!! but i do not smoke :D

the topic of next post is gonna be a blast, as it was for me to experience its story
but for now let me finish off with an img

OP OP OP OP OP OP OP OP OP OP!!!
